The general meeting is January 12, 2017 from 7:00 PM – 8:45 PM at the Milwood Library on Amherst Drive. We will elect officers, talk about other issues and discuss creating a Neighborhood Watch. Police officer Hank Moreno will join us to describe the neighborhood watch and answer questions.
Please join us!
If you wish to run for office, please contact any of the officers. You can also pay dues at the meeting. There are other ways to become involved; if you want to help keep Northwood a great place to live, just contact one of the officers.
Want to learn the latest on the apartments and other topics? Attend the Northwood Neighborhood Association’s meeting on Saturday April 9 at the United Christian Church, 3500 W. Parmer (just east of Tamarack). We begin at 1:00. Residents of nearby neighborhoods are also invited.
We will cover general business, discuss the latest on the requested rezoning of the undeveloped section of Oak Creek to MF4 so that apartments can be built (see the apartments links for details), accept dues payments and donations to the legal and research fund, and talk about ways that everyone can get involved.
Representatives from Council Member Leslie Pool’s office will be present to answer questions.
Steve Pustelnyk, “MoPac Man”, will be at the October 16 Association meeting to give a presentation about the MoPac Improvement Project and answer questions about it. The meeting begins at 7 PM in the Milwood Library.
